Welcome to Gloucester Pickleball Club Association

Gloucester Pickleball Club Association (GPCA) is dedicated to providing a fun, healthy, and recreational activity for its members and guests. We promote the exercise, development of skills, and the enjoyment of Pickleball, a fast-growing sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong. Join our vibrant community and experience the joy of this dynamic game.

About Gloucester Pickleball Club Association

Our History

  • Founded originally in 2021 as Gloucester Pickleball Club (GPC) by Carlos Morales. Now in 2023, as a non-for-profit 501(c)(3) Gloucester Pickleball Club Association (GPCA) has been dedicated to promoting pickleball in Gloucester County and the middle peninsula. Our members come from all walks of life and share a passion for the sport.  We believe that pickleball can bring people together and create a sense of camaraderie, teamwork, and lots of social fun.

Our Facilities

We play at Newington Baptist Church's Indoor Gym (Rear of the church) located on 6169 Main Street in Gloucester, Virginia 23061. There are three pickleball courts inside a basketball gym.  The courts are taped and we use temporary nets that we roll out when there is open play.

Our Programs

At Gloucester Pickleball Club Association, we offer a variety of programs for people of all ages and skill levels. Whether you're looking to improve your pickleball skills, learn the sport, or compete at a high level, we have something for you. Our programs are designed to be fun, challenging, and rewarding.

Recent events for GPCA

Gloucester Pickleball Club participates in the 2nd Annual Battle of the Paddles fundraiser event at Veteran's park in Williamsburg, Virginia. GPCA raised over $1500 for the Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society.
